Story Behind the Company

 John Marion Baker started from humble beginnings in 1981.
Behind his home was a shed with a dirt floor from which he launched
Baker’s Salvage Inc.

26 years later, Baker Salvage had grown into a

company serving the entire US & select overseas locations

Ultimately, Baker Salvage held 100 acres of salvage,
with 2 locations and 5 warehouses
The company employed 20 of the most experienced people in the industry

On May 10th 2006, Abilene Machine Inc. purchased Baker's Salvage Inc.
We named the new company Baker Abilene Machine

(Our friends sometimes call us BAM)

New Beginnings!

Since becoming BAM, we have tripled our new parts inventory on hand

And we have purchased over 500 machines for Salvage & Retail

We have implemented programs and procedures to provide the
 best in customer service!

We started experiencing rapid growth within 90 days of
forming the new company

In fact our growth has exceeded our expectations!
